Within the State of Wisconsin, there are many sources of free and inexpensive assistance to help you assess need, seek financing, and address legal and policy issues. Here are some which are available state-wide. Be sure to check with local business and economic assistance groups as well.

Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs):  

Every county is served by one of the 17 CCR&R agencies. They maintain databases on all regulated care in the counties they serve, and are a good source of information on supply vs. demand, child care rates and wages, types of child care most often requested, and local resources and issues.

Eleven of the four-year campuses of the UW System have a Small Business Development Center. Together, they serve all Wisconsin counties.
